Due to the forecast for thunderstorms and rain, the final concert planned for the front lawn has been moved to the concert hall and livestream. Concert Hall seating is limited to 3 guests for each camper performing. The livestream will be available in Rooms 211 and 212 at Corthell Hall.
Southern Maine Junior Music Academy is a seven-day program that gives middle school-age instrumental musicians the opportunity for musical growth and development. All academy members participate in concert band, chorus, instrument sectionals, and small ensembles daily, and may also audition for jazz band. Academy members also enjoy free concerts performed by local professional musicians and daily recreational activities.
